Are you an Accounts Payable / Payroll Specialist who has QuickBooks experience? Are you an Accounts Payable / Payroll Specialist who is looking for an opportunity within a local growing company?

Our client is a locally-owned, nationally recognized company. They provide personalized, thorough care.


As an Accounts Payable / Payroll Specialist, you will be starting the position with doing more accounts payable duties and after 1-3 months will be processing payroll.

  • Ensure time cards are complete
  • Ensure deductions are withheld accurately
  • Code invoices for payment
  • Accurately invoice industrial contracts and follow-up on unpaid invoices
  • Complete month-end reporting
  • Process accounts payable
  • Enter EFTS, deposits and other banking transactions in QuickBooks
  • Complete banking reconciliations
  • File sales and use tax returns
  • Prepare personal property tax reports annually
  • Year-end 1099 reporting
  • Attend company meetings as needed
  • Travel to other sites as needed
  • Any other duties as assigned


  • Must have 1 year of accounts payable and payroll experience
  • Must have knowledge of government regulatory reporting
  • Benefit administration and/or retirement plan administration knowledge is a plus
  • Must have an Associate degree in Accounting or Finance
  • A Bachelor’s degree is preferred
  • Must have QuickBooks experience
  • Intermediate skillset in Excel
  • Must have proof of valid driver’s license and insurance for minimal local travel
  • Positive and energetic
  • High attention to detail and accuracy
  • Ability to work well with a team and independently
  • Must adhere to HIPAA and ensure patient privacy and confidentiality is upheld at all times
