WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

As an Administrative Assistant, you will interact directly with families and work alongside the funeral directors performing the administrative functions to support them while serving the families

  • Answer phones
  • Receive first calls & collect necessary information for the directors
  • Place obituaries online & into newspapers and communicate associated charges
  • Data entry
  • Generate printed material and create DVDs
  • Provide basic service information and options to families
  • Maintain clean working order

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • 1-2 years administrative/office assistant experience
  • Customer service experience
  • MSWD & Excel skills
  • Adobe experience a plus
  • Compassionate
  • Strong customer service and interpersonal skills
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Organization skills
  • Take initiative
  • Maintain confidentiality

Hours: Thursday-Monday 8:00am/9:00am-5:00pm

Length: Direct Hire or Temporary-to-Hire

Pay for the Administrative Assistant position: $19.00-$21.00/hr. based on experience
