WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As an Administrative / Purchasing Coordinator, you will be responsible for providing production planning and purchasing support.
- Prepare fabrication, assembly and service order job traveler packets for production
- Create and coordinate jobs for rush service parts and notify parts sales personnel of status
- Purchase steel, aluminum and plastics for the fabrication department
- Run reports and draw package
- Keep a scape log for raw materials
- Complete and close jobs
- Back up and assist with the engineering change orders
- Write or update procedures
- Other duties as assigned
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 2+ years of related experience – support / administrative / purchasing or planning etc.
- Purchasing or production planning background preferred
- Manufacturing / industrial / distribution experience is a plus
- Mechanical and / or electrical aptitude is a plus
- Understanding engineering procedures is a plus
- Supply chain degree preferred
- Data entry, MSWD and Excel skills
- Database experience preferred
- Manufacturing software systems experience preferred
- Excellent organizational and communication skills

Pay for the Administrative / Purchasing Coordinator position: $16.63 – $19.94 / hr. – based on experience
