As a Bookkeeper, you will be performing all aspects of day-to-day bookkeeping and accounting processes.

  • Accounts payable, accounts receivable, journal entries and bank reconciliation
  • Process and pay invoices
  • Prepare and send invoices
  • Enter organizational revenue
  • Process payroll on a bi-weekly payroll, including making payments to Flex, HSA and retirement plans
  • Paying and reporting of payroll taxes
  • Prepare W2’s and 1099’s
  • Maintain the petty cash fund
  • Communicate with customers to address past due notices
  • Assist with preparation of monthly/yearly financial statements and reports
  • Assist with financial grant reporting and budgets
  • Keep and maintain records of assets and liabilities and file, organize and maintain account records


  • Must have 2+ years of experience in an accounting/bookkeeping role
  • Nonprofit accounting experience preferred
  • Experience with accounts payable, accounts receivable and/or general ledger is highly preferred
  • Would consider a fresh graduate with an internship or office experience working in QuickBooks
  • Any experience processing payroll is a plus
  • Associate degree in accounting preferred
  • Must have QuickBooks experience
  • Basic skillset in MSWD, Excel and Outlook
  • Microsoft Teams experience is a plus
  • Self-starter with the ability to jump in and learn the role quickly
  • Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
  • Must maintain strict confidentiality of company and personnel information
  • Strong multitasking skills
  • Ability to work well independently

Hours: 30 hours per week between 8:00am – 5:00pm

Length: Temporary to Hire
