WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As a Credit Specialist, you will manage credit activities for assigned accounts.
- Communicate with customers regarding delinquent invoices and help to resolve disputed balances
- Evaluate credit worthiness of assigned accounts to determine growth potential or financial risk to the company
- Fulfill customers’ requests for invoice copies, proofs of delivery or other documents
- Communicate with internal departments to ensure timely payment of delinquent invoices
- Review orders in a ‘hold’ status to determine if customer is in good standing to release the order(s) and/or if they have the appropriate credit lines established for the account
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Customer service backgrounds within a business/office setting
- Accounting or credit experience preferred
- Call center experience preferred
- Excel skills
- SAP experience preferred
- Negotiation skills
- Deadline driven
- Strong math and organizational skills
- Good judgement skills
- Organized, detailed and a quick learner
- Strong multitasking and prioritizing skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Live within driving distance of Appleton, WI

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Hours: 7:30am-4:00pm or 8:00am-4:30pm
Length: Long-Term Temporary
Pay for the Credit Specialist position: $18.00-$18.50/hr. based on experience
Location: Appleton, WI. Position can be onsite or hybrid; if hybrid, you will work onsite Tuesdays & Wednesdays. Must live within driving distance of Appleton, WI.
