WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As a Customer Service / Office Assistant, you will answer incoming phone calls and transfer to the correct person.
- Sort and file stacks of files
- Keep all Outlook e-mail templates updated with information the customers provide
- Keep the customer contact number spreadsheet updated
- Send daily shipping information, using e-mail templates, for orders shipping to customers
- Update the sales order in the system with all shipping information for all shipments from a certain location
- Keep a list of all part numbers and inform the correct person if a part number has not been created for an order
- Send order confirmations and invoices using e-mail templates
- Organize packing slips from the stock containers
- Take customer calls/e-mails and be able to create a quote in their system and e-mail the customer
- Create an invoice in the system
- Other miscellaneous data entry or filing duties
- Help put away the stock container and help pack and ship items during slow times
- Assist with mail and bank deposits as needed
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 1-2+ years of office experience
- Must have on the job data entry experience
- MSWD and Excel skills
- Strong and accurate data entry skills
- An understanding of how to work with PDF’s, Adobe or Nitro Software is ideal
- Any experience/knowledge with SAP is a plus
- Friendly, outgoing and personable
- Strong customer service skills
- Strong attention to detail and good with numbers
- Excellent communication skills and not afraid to pick up the phone
- Must not be afraid to ask questions as you have them
- Strong work ethic

Hours: 7:30am – 4:00pm
Length: Temporary to Hire
Pay for the Customer Service / Office Assistant position: $15.00 – $18.00 / hr. – based on experience
