Our client is an independent insurance agency with offices in the Midwest.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the staff with administrative tasks.

  • Handle incoming and outgoing mail
  • Sort and forward emails
  • Pull and enter data into the system
  • Process payments from customers
  • Assist with answering incoming calls
  • Assist CSR’s with correspondence and administrative tasks
  • Handle office supplies

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Office and administrative experience
  • Interest in the insurance industry
  • P&C license a plus (if do not have, must be willing to obtain)
  • Computer savvy with the ability to work with several systems at once
  • MSWD and Excel skills
  • PowerPoint experience a plus
  • Excellent customer service skills
  • Personable, patient and calm
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work easily and well under pressure
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Sense of urgency, ability to prioritize and stay organized
  • Strong work ethic
