Our client is an independent insurance agency with offices in the Midwest.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As an Administrative Assistant, you will be responsible for supporting the staff with administrative tasks.
- Handle incoming and outgoing mail
- Sort and forward emails
- Pull and enter data into the system
- Process payments from customers
- Assist with answering incoming calls
- Assist CSR’s with correspondence and administrative tasks
- Handle office supplies
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Office and administrative experience
- Interest in the insurance industry
- P&C license a plus (if do not have, must be willing to obtain)
- Computer savvy with the ability to work with several systems at once
- MSWD and Excel skills
- PowerPoint experience a plus
- Excellent customer service skills
- Personable, patient and calm
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to work easily and well under pressure
- Good problem solving skills
- Ability to work well within a team environment
- Sense of urgency, ability to prioritize and stay organized
- Strong work ethic

Length: Direct Hire
Pay for the Administrative Assistant position: $30,000-$40,000/yr. based on experience
