Are you a Direct Hire Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative who is highly organized? Are you a Direct Hire Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative who has strong computer skills?

Our client is an independent insurance agency with offices in the Midwest.


As a Commercial Lines Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for supporting Commercial Lines Agents.

  • Take phone calls
  • Answer coverage questions and inquiries from Agents
  • Mentor new Agents with application completions, company products, etc.
  • Work with Underwriters and Agents to provide quotes


  • Insurance industry experience, preferably commercial lines experience
  • Would consider someone with outstanding customer service skills that has a true interest in the insurance industry
  • P&C license a plus (if do not have, must be willing to obtain)
  • Computer savvy with the ability to work with several systems at once
  • MSWD and Excel skills
  • AMS360 management system, EZLynzx Rater or CRM software knowledge a plus
  • Personable, patient and calm
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Ability to work easily and well under pressure
  • Good problem solving skills
  • Ability to work well within a team environment
  • Sense of urgency, ability to prioritize and stay organized
  • Strong work ethic
