Our client is a business in the Oconto, WI area that has been around since the early 1900’s.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As a Controller, you will be responsible for controlling all financial activities for the company as well as overseeing 2 other locations.
- Prepare monthly and quarterly financial forecasts, analyze financials and recommend changes
- Monitor inventory for variances, cost increases and inventory turns
- Analyze sales, product and gross margins
- Analyze materials and purchasing processes
- Pull financial data to prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial statements
- Cost accounting
- Tax planning and compliance reporting
- Complete the annual audit process
- Manage profitability and cash flow
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Controller or financial analyst experience within the manufacturing industry
- Budgeting and financial planning and analysis experience
- Accounting and auditing, operations, policies and procedures, with advanced knowledge of cost accounting
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance
- CPA license a plus
- MSWD & Excel skills
- ERP software knowledge
- Strong critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Excellent communication skills
- Time-management skills
- Valid driver’s license, proof of insurance and reliable transportation
