WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

As a Controller, you will prepare company budget and monthly financial statements as well as mange the development and implementation of Percentage of Completion accounting and oversee auditing of sales worksheets.

  • Submit financial reports to leadership
  • Perform performance reviews for all direct reports
  • Identify proper staffing requirements and participate in the hiring and termination of employees
  • General ledger account reconciliations
  • Oversee and recommend any financially related transactions, oversee all building leases and lease contract negotiations
  • Approve requests for vacation for direct reports, expense reports and maintain sales forecast
  • Attend weekly and monthly manager’s meetings
  • Sign accounts payable checks and review all reports
  • Coordinate upgrades to software and communicate with vendors on issues
  • Be the primary contact for landlords of leased buildings
  • Review accounts receivable, aging and cash collection efforts

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Accounting experience (6+ years)
  • Manufacturing experience/environment
  • CPA and/or CMA preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Accounting
  • Excel skills
  • QuickBooks knowledge
  • Paylocity Payroll Software experience preferred
  • Accurate data entry skills
  • Trustworthy, self-starter and self-directed
  • Work well independently and deadline driven
  • Ability to organize, prioritize and complete tasks with a high level of detail
  • Strong organizational skills
