Our client is a company in the Marinette area established in the 1940s.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

As a Human Resources Coordinator, you will be responsible for engaging in the full scope of talent acquisition activities specific to the non-exempt, blue-collar workforce.

  • Assist the Talent Acquisition Team with facilitating and scheduling interviews, tours, meetings, coordinating travel, etc. And gathering/completing all necessary paperwork to submit to the appropriate department
  • Follow through on all resumes and applications received such as assist applicants with website, completing applications, general questions and updates on progress
  • Data entry, maintaining files, job offer proposal creation, forms and database information associated with personnel, general information and recruiting
  • Attract hourly and salary candidates by posting positions to appropriate internet sources, approved recruiters, and other recruiting sources
  • Coordinate, document, and attend internal career fairs, general career fairs, college career fairs and intern recruiting initiatives
  • Assist with human resources and talent acquisition projects
  • Assist in recruitment vendor communication, reporting, and updates as needed assist in gathering data for internal and external applicant consideration identifies applicant sources by researching and contacting community services, colleges, employment agencies, recruiters and internet sites
  • Enter new requisitions into the applicant tracking system and assign approval workflow along with updating and maintaining recruiting workflow in the tracking system for recruitment management from the opening of a new requisition through cancellation or closure
  • Determine applicant qualifications by studying job description, discussing job requirements/qualifications with hiring managers, prescreening and interviewing applicants, analyzing responses, and verifying references
  • Propose and negotiate approved offers of employment
  • Prepare official offer letters and completes the on-boarding process
  • Communicate process and all required orientation information to new hires prior to start date

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Associate degree in Administration or a related field with 2+ years of human resources experience is highly preferred
  • Would consider someone with 2+ years of administrative/ office experience including recruitment, data entry and maintaining confidential records
  • Any experience working in a larger company/corporation is a huge plus
  • Manufacturing industry experience working within a union environment is a plus
  • Knowledge of state and federal employment laws and other government compliance regulations is preferred
  • An Associate degree in Human Resources or a related field is ideal
  • MSWD and Excel skills
  • Experience with ADP, ATS system or HRIS is a huge plus
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor
  • Ability to work with statistical tools and analysis techniques
  • Outstanding interpersonal skills
  • Strong follow-up skills with a client service mentality
  • Ability to work well independently and collaboratively in a hands-on, high volume, fast-paced environment
  • Ability to research and analyze various different types of data information
  • Must make recommendations to effectively resolve problems or issues
  • Must be assertive if needed and work well with changes
  • Strong organizational, decision making and time-management skills
