Are you a Hyrbid / Direct Hire Human Resources Manager who has a degree in Human Resources? Are you a Hybrid /  Direct Hire Human Resources Manager who has excellent management and coaching skills?

Our client is a company in the Marinette area established in the 1940s.


As a Human Resources Manager, you will manage core HR processes for the organizational unit’s skilled labor force including; staffing, performance management, compensation administration and career development.

  • Serve as an expert on all HR processes for internal staff
  • Counsel and advise managers and supervisors with regard to labor relations and policy issues
  • Facilitate, review and approve advanced disciplinary steps or exceptional employment decisions
  • Monitor the administration of employment policies, practices and take corrective action as necessary
  • Investigate problems such as working conditions, disciplinary actions and employee/ applicant appeals and grievances
  • Provide guidance and recommendations for problem resolution to departmental officials and individuals
  • Perform surveys, benchmarking studies and research regarding alternative or advanced employment practices used in other businesses and make appropriate recommendations for change
  • Lead organizational changes to achieve and sustain strategic alignment with business objectives
  • Supervise other HR, professional and/or administrative staff
  • Administration of the labor agreement including the full grievance procedure


  •  Must live in or near Marinette, WI
  • 5-8 years of HR experience
  • Must have on the job supervisory/management experience
  • Any experience working in a larger company/corporation is a huge plus
  • Must have an Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources or a related field
  • MSWD and Excel skills
  • Experience with ADP, ATS system or HRIS is needed
  • Ability to maintain a professional demeanor
  • Excellent management skills
  • Ability to work with statistical tools and analysis techniques
  • Outstanding interpersonal and coaching skills
  • Strong follow-up skills with a client service mentality
  • Ability to work well independently and collaboratively in a hands-on, high volume, fast-paced environment
