WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

As a Manager of Member Development, your role will encompass three areas.

Management:

  • Recruit, supervise, coach, train and manage performance of direct reports
  • Enforce rules, guidelines and consequences
  • Ensure adherence to quality standards, deadlines, and proper procedures, correcting errors, or problems
  • Provide coaching, support, direction, and problem-solving resources to team leads and member specialists
  • Coordinate and oversee customer service projects and initiatives
  • Ensure the necessary resources and tools are available for quality customer service delivery
  • Review & implement processes and identify and implement strategies to improve quality of service, productivity, and profitability
  • Determine merit increases

Member Development:

  • Analyze customer trends from an outside perspective and address concerns with proactive solutions
  • Gather and evaluate information to increase performance, overall productivity and skills sets
  • Research, compile, and prepare reports, manuals, correspondence and other information
  • Analyze training needs to assist in development of new training programs and improve existing programs
  • Monitor and address performance issues on a timely basis
  • Analyze financial activities of department and provide input into budget planning and preparation processes
  • Travel as required for tradeshows etc.

Customer Satisfaction:

  • Plan, prioritize and delegate work tasks to ensure proper functioning of daily operations of the Member Development team to meet supplier deadlines
  • Review and track customer complaints and resolutions
  • Serve as problem-solving resources for system and customer service issues
  • Handle complex situations, resolve escalated issues, negotiate solutions and act as a liaison with customers
  • Resolve non-routine customer complaints and service issues

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Leadership experience in customer service and/or sales environment, ideally 5+ years
  • Experience managing people/teams of approximately 15 people
  • Foodservice experience highly preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business or related field is preferred
  • Technical savvy and comfortable with new technology and systems
  • Excel and PowerPoint experience
  • Proven ability to motivate direct reports
  • Help support the development of the employees while managing customer relationships with their members/distributors
  • Detail oriented and deadline driven
  • Proven ability to work in a fast-paced environment, high flexibility & adaptability to changing priorities
  • Considerable judgment and initiative to resolve problems
  • Ability to interact with all levels within and outside the organization
  • Ability to work effectively in a dynamic and high-pressure environment, while providing calm and collected leadership

Hours: 40 hours per week between 7:00am – 4:00pm

Length: Direct Hire

Pay for the Manager of Member Development position: $57,000.00 – $64,000.00 – based on experience

Location: Appleton, WI – potential hybrid option available after training, must live within driving distance of Appleton, WI
