Our client specializes in security systems and fire protection for homes and businesses.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As a Purchasing Coordinator, you will be responsible for purchasing materials for a specific Wisconsin branch.
- Online vendor research to find products, prices and availability
- Work with vendors to negotiate shipping, pricing, discontinued or recalled parts and back-orders due to parts shortages
- Help initiate returns through vendors
- Handle orders for customers
- Work with internal teams to coordinate product eta and delivery
- Build business relationships with vendors and the staff
- Assist with physical inventory counts
- Monitor and maintain parts in the system
- Help in the warehouse to unload boxes and stock items as needed
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Purchasing, buying and/or account management experience preferred
- Will consider someone with customer experience with a strong technical aptitude
- Computer savvy with the ability to learn the company software
- Excel skills
- Easygoing
- Excellent customer service skills & easygoing
- Handle a variety of personalities and be assertive if needed
- Valid driver’s license

Length: Direct Hire
Pay for the Purchasing Coordinator: $20.00-$22.00/hr. based on experience
