WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As a Dispatcher, you will dispatch drivers for this location as well as dispatch all daily school routes, charters and transit routes.
- Make any driver substitutions
- Instruct drivers on routes including maps and necessary route information
- Assign proper vehicles, drivers and statuses
- Keep a good relationship with the shop staff and the status of vehicles
- Assist the sales staff with booking charters
- Maintain a good relationship with the public and the schools
- Handle emergency situations should they arise
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Customer service experience
- Dispatcher experience preferred
- Transportation, logistics or project coordinator experience a plus
- Familiarity with the Shawano area
- MSWD & Excel skills
- DOS system experience a plus
- Paycom software experience a plus
- Polite, respectful and strong relationship building skills
- Analytical skills
- Valid driver’s license
- Willing and able to obtain a CDL license

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Hours: 40-45 hours per week between 6:00am-4:00pm. Contact us for additional details.
Length: Temporary-to-Hire, possible Direct Hire
Pay for the Dispatcher position: $17.00-$21.00/hr. based on experience
