WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As a Retail Accounting Specialist, you will complete bank reconciliations and resolve any discrepancies found in the reconciliation.
- Monitor shared inboxes and respond to all inquiries from retail stores & ecommerce customer service regarding sales, payments & other miscellaneous items
- Prepare journal entries related to bank account reconciliations
- Compile supporting documentation for audit requests related to retail/ecommerce sales and bank reconciliations
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Analytical skills, heavy data entry/numbers, administrative or customer support backgrounds that like to work with numbers
- Office experience
- Accounting experience or retail experience is highly preferred
- Numbers ability
- Bachelor’s degree in Business with major in Accounting or Finance is preferred
- Excel skills
- Computer savvy with the ability to toggle between multiple screens on the computer
- Accurate data entry skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to jump into a fast paced environment and learn and retain information quickly
- Must be able to multi-task and have the ability to work under pressure
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Driving distance of Appleton, WI

Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Length: Temporary
Pay for the Retail Accounting Specialist position: $15.00 – $18.00 / hr. – based on experience
Location: Appleton, WI – option for a hybrid schedule – must live within driving distance of Appleton, WI
