Our client is a campus ministry organization that works to engage others through gatherings, events and trainings.
WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As a Technical Support Specialist, you will provide hands-on as well as remote support to help get software, hardware and operating systems installed/configured.
- Log problems, resolutions, work performer and customer contacts
- Create self-service training materials
- Provide technical support for MAC, Windows, iOS and Android devices
- Install and support PC, printer, mobile and telephone equipment and software
- Support room-based video conferencing systems for audio/video needs
- Maintain laptops with security products
- Manage user accounts for employee hires, changes and terminations
- Assist with office moves
- Create and maintain internal documentation of technical support procedures
- Assist with computer purchases
- Work with the departments various internal and external customers in order to plan and execute on projects
- Manage the department’s system management records and inventories
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 3+ years of technical support experience
- Associate degree, ideally technology related
- Microsoft Office experience and knowledge
- Experience managing a MAC OS devices a plus
- Experience managing Window 365 operating system a plus
- Intune experience a plus
- Microsoft hardware a plus
- Windows 10, OS X, iOS, and Android operating systems a plus
- Office 365 online applications experience a plus
- Experience managing Cloud services a plus
- Networking and internet fundamentals
- Onsite and remote hardware installation/support a plus
- Flexible and adaptable to change
- Work well in a fast paced environment where they have to manage moving priorities
- Follow through on projects with minimal supervision
- Self-directed and motivated
- Comfortable working with customers via phone, email or in person
- Maintain confidentiality
- Effective communication skills
- Live within driving distance of Madison, WI

Hours: 8:00am-5:00pm
Length: Temporary-to-Hire
Pay for the Technical Support Specialist position: $21.00-$23.75/hr. based on experience
Location: Madison, WI. Hybrid position. Must live within driving distance of Madison, WI
