WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As an IT Help Desk Specialist, you will assist, log and resolve requests from internal and external customers on work tickets, account access and security.
- Troubleshoot end-user desktop issues on various devices
- Deploy, configure, test, maintain and troubleshoot end-user windows, Macros, and mobile devices
- Analyze, troubleshoot and resolve hardware & software issues at the desktop and network level
- Gather requirements for desktop applications, work with customers on software needs and install the software manually
- Create documentation for distribution to internal and external customers
- Provide cross-training and documentation to desktop support team members
- Provide Office 365 support for mailbox triage, maintenance and access
- Maintain shared data stores and related data inventory needs
- Provide backup and additional support for Windows, directory administrators and media support team,
- Provide staff and public use phone installation, audio/visual support and business technology support
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 1.5+ years of help desk and/or IT related experience (client prefers 3)
- Comptia A+ or Microsoft certification preferred
- Network switches and network protocols such as TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP knowledge
- Configuring mobile devices experience preferred
- Usage and hardware support of Macros experience preferred
- Associate degree in Computer Information Systems or a related field
- Extremely strong knowledge of Microsoft office products
- Positive attitude, maturity, take initiative and integrity
- Interest in technology and expanding knowledge base
- Ability to explain and document procedures verbally and in writing
- Organizational skills and ability to work under pressure
- Neatness in work and maintain confidentiality
- Work effectively in a team environment

Hours: Full-time hours between 7:00am-4:00pm
Length: Temporary, possible Temporary-to-Hire
Pay for the IT Help Desk Specialist position: $20.00/hr.
