WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As a Marketing / Events Coordinator, you will be responsible for donor relations, events coordination and communications.
- Manage donor database functions, coordinate and track all donations
- Work with Executive Director to develop, facilitate and implement stewardship strategies
- Monitor and support staff, board members’ and volunteers’ progress
- Assist with grant writing and management, including reporting
- Support capital campaign cabinet with material preparation for meetings
- Plan and coordinate annual events
- Recruit and work with volunteer committees to assist with planning
- Work closely with contracted vendors to execute and manage event’s related tasks
- Establish and track budget and timelines
- Plan materials and coordinate production with Designer and print vendors
- Coordinate preparation, production and distribution of annual reports
- Assist in developing ideas for blogs, website, social media posts and other program/development/marketing communications
- Coordinate monitoring of referral sources
- Responsible for continued improvement of referral source packets
- Coordinate referral source acknowledgement, create and distribute thank you notes/letters to referral sources
WHAT YOU NEED:
- 1-2 + years of marketing, event coordinating, development coordinator, donor relations type experience
- Any social media and digital marketing experience is a plus
- Any nonprofit experience is preferred
- Associate or Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications or something similar is preferred
- Basic skillset in Excel, MSWD and Outlook
- Any experience with Microsoft Office 365 and/or Microsoft Teams is preferred
- Any experience with database management is preferred
- Professional demeanor and excellent customer service skills
- Self-starter with the ability to jump in and learn the role quickly
- Strong organizational skills and high attention to detail
- Must maintain strict confidentiality of company and personnel information
- Strong multitasking skills
- Ability to work well independently
- Strong communication skills

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Hours: 40 hours per week between 8:00am – 5:00pm
Length: Temporary to Hire
Pay for the Marketing / Events Coordinator position: $18.00 – $20.00 / hr. – based on experience
