WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As an Office Manager, you will be trained to help run the business as the owner cuts back on hours.
- Confirm inventory is costed in each job
- Close orders and send out statements
- Assist with calling on past due customers
- Monitor e-commerce & manual price screens to assure correct pricing
- Enter and monitor supplier freight to determine the price formulas for quoting customers
- Inactivate discontinued products
- Monthly inventory control & place orders
- Make sure each store has customer samples
- Encourage the staff to sell old inventory left over from previous jobs
- Pull customer sales orders to review for accuracy
- Track purchases that receive rebates
- Job postings, hiring & complete new hire paperwork
- Search for new company benefit providers & handle open enrollment
- Handle any IT issues, reach out to the service or software provider to troubleshoot issues
- Pay bills for the owner & track expenses
- Backup to accounts payable, receivable and payroll
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Office manager, business owner and administrative experience
- Human resources experience a plus
- Inventory experience a plus
- MSWD & Excel skills
- Good decision making & problem solving skills
- Self-starter and take initiative
- Ability to learn the business and how they do things, yet bring new ideas in for cost saving and efficiency
- Willing to learn, eager to take on more as they are in the position
- Detailed and numbers oriented

GENERAL INFORMATION:
Hours: 8:00am-4:00pm or 9:00am-5:00pm
Length: Temporary-to-Hire, possible Direct Hire
Pay for the Office Manager position: $50,000-$60,000/yr. based on experience
