WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:
As a Receptionist / Client Benefits Specialist, you will you will answer multi-line phones and direct the caller to the appropriate party or handle the caller’s needs.
- Greets and check in patients
- Schedule patient appointments and input demographic and insurance information
- Troubleshoot issues and notify patients of insurance issues or scheduling conflicts
- Monitor schedule and patients waiting in lobby, alert patients of any delays
- Process payments from patients for co-pays and uninsured visits and print receipt for customers
- Initiate daily electronic appointment reminders
- Prepare bank deposits, record credit receipts
WHAT YOU NEED:
- Office experience as well as experience answering phones
- Medical experience is a plus
- behavioral health experience is a plus
- Nonprofit experience preferred
- MSWD, Excel and Outlook skills, prefer Office 365 experience
- Computer savvy – able to toggle between multiple screens and programs
- Pick up on duties quickly

Hours: 8:00am – 5:00pm
Length: Temporary to Hire
Pay for the Receptionist / Client Benefits Specialist position: $14.00 – $16.00 / hr. – based on experience
