WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

As a Receptionist / Client Benefits Specialist, you will you will answer multi-line phones and direct the caller to the appropriate party or handle the caller’s needs.

  • Greets and check in patients
  • Schedule patient appointments and input demographic and insurance information
  • Troubleshoot issues and notify patients of insurance issues or scheduling conflicts
  • Monitor schedule and patients waiting in lobby, alert patients of any delays
  • Process payments from patients for co-pays and uninsured visits and print receipt for customers
  • Initiate daily electronic appointment reminders
  • Prepare bank deposits, record credit receipts

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Office experience as well as experience answering phones
  • Medical experience is a plus
  • behavioral health experience is a plus
  • Nonprofit experience preferred
  • MSWD, Excel and Outlook skills, prefer Office 365 experience
  • Computer savvy – able to toggle between multiple screens and programs
  • Pick up on duties quickly
  • Trustworthy, self-starter
