Our client is a campus ministry organization that works to engage others through gatherings, events and trainings.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

As a Technical Support Specialist, you will provide technical support for MAC, Windows, IOS, and Android devices.

  • Install/support PC, printer, mobile, telephone equipment and software
  • Execute large-scale desktop deployment, platform migration and endpoint management
  • Support room-based video conferencing systems for audio/video needs
  • Maintain fleet of laptops with Intune, Anti-Virus, Anti-Malware and other security products
  • Complete training and certification for Intune to ensure we are using the best practices for the product
  • Manage user accounts for employee hires, changes and terminations
  • Assist with office moves
  • Provide customers with preventive maintenance and configuration recommendations to improve product usability, performance and customer satisfaction
  • Create and maintain internal documentation of technical support procedures
  • Work closely with asset management coordinator for coordination of computer purchases and asset coordination
  • Work with various internal and external customers in order to plan and execute on projects
  • Manage IT system management records and inventories
  • Assist with any other duties as assigned

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • Must have 3+ years of work experience in an IT environment
  • Bachelor’s degree in IT or a related skillset is preferred, would consider someone in the process of getting their degree
  • Must have experience within Microsoft Office applications (Outlook, MSWD, Excel, PowerPoint, Access)
  • Any experience managing MAC OS devices is a plus
  • Any experience with a Window 365 operating system is a plus
  • Any experience with Intune is a plus
  • Any experience with Microsoft hardware is a plus
  • Experience with Windows 10, OS X, IOS, and Android operating systems is a plus
  • Experience with Office 365 online applications is a plus
  • Experience managing cloud services including Zoom, AWS, Azure and Office 365 is a plus
  • Experience with networking and internet fundamentals including Ethernet, WiFi, VPN, and Web technologies is a plus
  • Experience with onsite/remote hardware installation and support is a plus
  • Self-directed and motivated
  • Must be flexible and easily roll with changes
  • Strong prioritizing skills in a fast-paced environment
  • Strong follow through skills on projects with minimal supervision
  • Ability to effectively envision, develop and implement new strategies to address complex issues
  • Must be comfortable working with customers and diagnosing issues over the phone, IM, e-mail and in person
  • Ability to handle all matters in a confidential manner
  • Effective oral and written communication skills, including documentation and procedures
  • Excellent work ethic

Pay for the Technical Support Specialist position: $16.00 – $21.50 / hr. – based on experience
