Are you a Trust Administration Specialist who enjoys working directly with clients? Are you a Trust Administration Specialist who has strong Excel skills?

Our client is an independent, privately owned company that provides high quality trust and custody services to clients.

WHAT YOU WILL BE DOING:

As a Trust Administration Specialist, you will provide administrative support and backup for the personal trust accounts.

  • Contact trust clients and their advisors
  • Gather asset and client information to set up new accounts
  • Coordinate statements and distributions
  • Draft documents and account reviews
  • Maintain account files
  • Administration of existing accounts
  • Handle incoming mail
  • Payment of bills
  • Respond to routine client inquiries
  • Assist with answering the telephone
  • Gather necessary documents needed especially for tax season
  • Working with budgets and analyze lost business and if or how the new business will make up for it

WHAT YOU NEED:

  • 7+ years of trust administration or trust accounting systems is preferred
  • Will consider a paralegal or legal assistant background who has worked in or with estate planning, trust documents, investment statements
  • Knowledge of financial services and investment concepts is a bonus
  • Strong Excel knowledge
  • Experience with mail merges in MSWD
  • Microsoft Access knowledge is a bonus
  • Experience working with a CRM system or Salesforce is a bonus
  • Professional demeanor with the ability to handle confidential information
  • Strong analytical skills and be capable of working with numbers and accounting
  • Must have a strong sense of urgency with ability to multi-task
  • Must take ownership of your work and have a strong sense of responsibility
  • Self-motivated and able to work in a self-directed environment
